Dorothy Mills was born on 9/30/1939 in Greer, SC to the late James Earl Mills and Lucille Rector Mills. She met and Married her first Love the late Rev. Willie Gage Jr. and was married for 58 yrs. Their union produced six wonderful children. Four preceded her in death. Sons; Willie Gage III; Bernard David Gage (Daughter-in law Linda Gage) Jerome J. Gage and Infant Daughter Teresa Ann Gage. Sister; Ruth Harris and Brother James E. Mills.
Dorothy spent the early years of her Spiritual Life at Bethel United Methodist of Greer, SC and later joined New Salem Baptist Church in Tigerville, SC. Her current affiliation was with Powdersville Community Church of Piedmont, SC
Mrs. Miles was educated and graduated from Dunbar High School. She worked for the Greenville County Schools for twenty three years before retiring. Mrs. Miles enjoyed working with the Juvenile Diversion Program of Greenville County. She served the program for Eight years. Mrs. Miles was the founder and Director of Project Hope Drug and Alcohol & HIV and Aids Program. The Program unfolded with the vision she had October 10, 1991 to 2007 (16 years of Service to the Community). The Program operated out of the Needmore Center until She Collaborated with the Piedmont Women Center of Greenville. Her office moved to Pineknoll Drive in Greenville, SC. She provided ten years of Service. Mrs. Mills also served as a Chaplin for the Greenville County Detention Center ( Women Division for six years).
Dorothy Loved the Lord and her work spoke for her. She was very committed to her several callings and her walk with God. Her Favorite quote: If I don’t see you in the morning, I’ll see you on the other side.
She is survived by Spouse; Rev Jerome Miles of the home. Children; Daughters; Trudy Ann Gage of Greenville, SC , Rose G. Griffin( Butch) of Greer, SC and Daughter- In-Law Lynn S. Gage of Austin, TX. Seventeen Grandchildren; Forty Great Grand Children and Eight Great-Great Grandchildren. Sister Betty Mills Beasley. A Special Friend Mary Dawkins and a adopted daughter Laci. A host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jeremiah Smith, 78 of Taylors, SC was born on February 1st,
1945 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Mr. Willie Alonzo Smith and
Mrs. Leila Victoria Livingston Smith. He departed this life on January 22,
2024. Jeremiah was a native of Greenville County. He was a former employee of Marshall Farms, Taylors Lumber Company, Steel Heddle and
Wendy’s of Greer, SC where he retired from many years of service. He
will always be remembered as a laid back, gentle type of man. He loved
spending his leisure time fishing and hunting with his sons, nephews and
friends. During football season, he loved watching and following his favorited NFL team, The New England Patriots and Tom Brady. He cherished and so dearly loved spending time with all of his family; especially.
his favorite girl and sidekick, his sister Wally and his nephew Lil Sammy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25-years, Mrs. Rose Smith.

She was born on July 5th, 1992, in Greenville County, SC to Pamela Woodruff and Calvin “Tooly” Lewis. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mahoni Pre’Asia Barton; her mother Pamela Woodruff; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs Jesse James and Margaret Ann Woodruff; paternal grandfather Mr. Calvin Lewis Sr. “Tada '' as she was affectionately called by her family and friends is a former student of Blue Ridge High School in Greer, SC. She was a full-time stay at home mom who loved her children dearly. She was generous, kind-hearted, and truly one of a kind. To know her is to love her. In some instances she was the life of the party. Her smile warmed many hearts. She was fiercely independent and found joy in the moments she shared with family and friends. Michael Reginald Lewis McGee, 37, entered into eternal rest and was escorted by God’s angels to his Heavenly Home on Monday, January 29, 2024. Michael was born on August 4,1986, in Greenville, South Carolina. He was the youngest child born to Raymond and Katie Lewis McGee in Mauldin, South Carolina.
Michael graduated from Greenville Technical Charter High School in 2004. An avid basketball player, he was the starting shooting guard on the varsity high school team at Greenville Tech Charter High School. He was a Beautillion beau with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. He was also recognized in the Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities. Michael was selected for the Presidential Classroom in Washington, DC. He was the Assist Sports II Basketball Camp NBA Foul Shot Champion during summer basketball training.
His love for basketball led him to play college basketball. Therefore, he played college basketball at Allen University before transferring and graduating from University of South Carolina Upstate in 2010. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sports Recreation. His desire to be a positive role model in life led him to become
active in his community. While in college Michael served on the Campus Activity Board at USC Upstate. He was active with the African American Association at USC Upstate and the South Carolina AHEC chapter.
A well-known presence in the community, Michael was a mentor for the Chamber of Commerce Internship initiative. He was a graduate of both the Greer and Spartanburg Citizens Police Academy. He served as social media specialist for Rainbow PUSH in Greenville. He was also active with the Urban League, Young Democrats, and a proud member of the 100 Black Men of Greenville.
As a faithful member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in downtown Greenville, Michael was involved with the youth choir and United Methodist Youth Fellowship. He also sang in the choir, served as acolyte, acted in plays, and played on the church basketball team. After graduating high school, he continued to serve as a member of the Staff Parish
Relations Committee (SPRC), usher, and outreach volunteer.
Michael worked in numerous positions, always in a place of helping people. He served as an Upward Bound counselor and G.E.D. teacher. He worked his way up in the automotive industry with BMW to team lead with Formula D, Trigo, and (most recently) MAU. He was well-loved by many of his coworkers over the years. Michael was a warm and social person. He had a great way of connecting with people and helping others whenever they were in need. He loved being a part of the community,
networking, and attending charitable events all over the city. He will always be remembered for his big smile and cheerful laugh. He was a loving son, a loyal brother, and doting uncle. Michael was the one to show up for every celebration and milestone for family and friends. His faith was important to him, and it showed in his actions of love and service. Words can’t
express how much we loved him; time cannot measure our short time with him. Michael created a meaningful life, taking challenges with grace, and always rising above. Our world was better for him.
Michael is survived by his parents, Raymond, Sr., and Katie McGee; siblings Raymond McGee, II and Adriane McGee Burgess (Craig); nephews Zach and Zander Burgess; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rob as we all know him was not just a son, father , brother or grandfather but he was a guiding light. A source of wisdom and a pillar of strength for his family. Rob lived a life marked by resilience and kindness. Born to Rosey Bruton Sims and Author Sims in a different era he faced challenges with grace that inspired his children Gary “Buster” Austin, Marin “Moochie” Austin and Joey Austin who proceeded him in death. But he leaves three daughters Emma L. Mayfield of Greer S.C. , Tonya Irby of Greenville S.C., and Micko Mallory of Charlotte N.C. also one son Butch Sims of Greer, S.C. His work ethic at the Textile plant was unparalleled teaching a host of grandchildren nieces and nephews the value of hard work and dedication. His sisters Mrs. Ruth(Leroy) Jackson of Greenville, SC and Ms. Georgia Foster of Greer S.C was at the core of Rob’s existence along with his love for his Aunt Ms. Lillie Mae Evans of Greer and his Uncle David Cohen of Greer S.C. His eye would light up when he was surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He imparted invaluable life lessons sharing stories that transcended generations, creating a timeless bond that the family will remember forever.

Mary Lee Turner Irby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on January 20, 2024 at the age of 97 years old surrounded by her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her sons; Arthur James Irby and Lester Irby Jr. Sisters: Arlene Duckett, Louise Robinson and Kathleen Drummond. Grandson Zabrallin Irby.
Mary loved to cook fish, clean and walk to her favorite store on Hwy 29. She loved to tell stories to make you laugh. Never was one to bite her tongue. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Everyone knew she adored her Tube Rose Snuff and a bottle of R&R (Rich & Rare)
Mary was married to the late Lester Irby and went on to have nine Children.

He loved playing with his grandchildren, spreading the word of god, gospel music, and watching old cowboy movies .He was a natural born leader, counselor, and mentor. His hobbies were fishing and riding around Greenville visiting family and friends daily. George Bell was a simple man. He was not hard to please at all, as long as he had his family, chicken, okra, and bologna. Oh yeah, DONT NEVER PLAY WHEN IT COMES TO HIS MONEY! Surviving is wife Barbara Bell of 52 years.
