Mr. Brown is a community leader in the Upstate of South Carolina. He is the Son of the late Bennie F. Brown Sr. & Julia Paige McKinney Brown. Bennie grew up in the Needmore Community of Greer, SC and is a proud graduate of Lincoln High School in Taylors, SC. He graduated from Paine College in Augusta, GA. with a degree in Chemistry. He continued his education at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Brown worked in the School District of Greenville County as an educator while also working for the City of Greer in the Recreation Department. He retired in the early part of 2006 and his pursed a passion in helping upstate families with affordable housing, tax service & funeral service. He is married Mirdis Pendarvis Brown and they have three children. Bennie F. Brown III, Brandon P. Brown (Kim) & Vanessa Brown.
Ms. Gaynell Tarrance is currently serving as the Licensed Manager and Funeral Director of Upstate Family Funeral Services.
Mr. Rice is native of Laurens, South Carolina. He is a highly respected Trade Embalmer in the Upstate Community. He has more than 20 years of experience in the funeral service industry. Rice graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Atlanta, Georgia. He continues to train new embalmers and is highly sought after by many in the industry for his expert advice.
Mr. Brown is a native of Greer, South Carolina and the nephew of Bennie F. Brown Jr. He is a graduate of Greer High School and later continued his education at USC Upstate and Anderson College. He brings more than 20 years of experience in community relations. He grew up in the funeral home industry and has been apart of servicing families across the Upstate during their time of bereavement.
Mr. Dillard is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He is a 30 year veteran of the mortuary industry.
He is currently an Elder in the Upstate Faith Community and an advocate for insuring families receive the best quality of services from funeral professionals. He prides himself with paying attention to details and uplifting families during their time of bereavement.
